Annual Fundraisers
Fundraising is vital to the sustainability and growth of the Drayton Valley Skating Club. Not only does it reduce essential operating costs, such as ice time and coaching, but allows the club to invest in new programs, equipment, and developmental initiatives that enhance the skaters' experience.
Generally we have two primary fundraisers. The primary fundraisers are our largest fundraisers that give back to the club by keeping ice and club fees reasonable, as well as covering costs not recuperated by registration fees alone.
We will require two post dated fundraising checks prior to/or on the first day of skating. These checks will be cashed on/or shortly after each post dated date, and skaters/parents will keep the proceeds from the raffle tickets.
-

Please prepare a $100.00 check per skater post dated December 15, of the current skate year. -
Fundraiser 2: Raffle Ticket Book - Each individual ticket will have a $2.00 - $5.00 value(dependent on the current executive's decision), and the total book will be $100.00. It is usually drawn on the day of our yearly Ice Show, late February (Exact date to be announced).
