Lessons are wrapping up for the holiday season, and we hope you have a great holiday break. We are looking forward to seeing you again in the New Year!
Important Dates
- December 10: Santa Skate- Last lesson for CanSkate before holiday break

Pre-CanSkate and CanSkate Updates
Santa Skate
Santa will be joining us on the ice for our last lesson before our holiday break (Dec 10). Parents and siblings are welcome to join their skaters on the ice. Skates are mandatory and helmets are mandatory for anyone 13 and under. Helmets are strongly recommended for all participants.
PreCan and CanSkate Spring Skate
If you are interested in registering for our Spring skate, dates and registration information will be released in early 2026. Watch for an email or follow our social media feed to stay informed.
StarSkate Updates
Our StarSkate solo night will be on December 19. The show will start at 4:30. Skaters please arrive by 4pm and let your coach know ahead of time if you have a time slot preference. All family, friends and club members are welcome to come watch our StarSkaters on the ice.
Startskate Spring Skate
If you are interested in registering for our Spring skate, dates and registration information will be released in early 2026. Watch for an email or follow our social media feed to stay informed.
Carnival Mandatory Volunteer Positions
In early January, you will receive information from our Volunteer Coordinator, Julie, via email regarding mandatory volunteer positions for our upcoming February Carnival. These positions will count as your volunteer credits.
Fundraising
Our first Raffle Ticket draw fundraiser is due December 10, 2025. The draw for the cash prize will be held on December 17, 2025, at the Omni II arena. Watch our social media feeds for the live draw. Please make sure that all booklets are returned by this day.
Options for Returning Booklets
- Return to a committee member. We can usually be found throughout the Omni II arena and lobby Monday-Friday, roughly between 4-5 pm.
- Place in our drop box located on the door to the sound room in Omni II arena
If you have any questions about the fundraising or wish to purchase extra tickets, please get in touch with Barb, our Fundraising Coordinator, or an Executive Committee member.
PA Updates
December 10 will be our annual PA Christmas Party. We will be doing a gift exchange with a $25 limit!
We thank all our PA's for working hard on the ice, you are certainly a big help in supporting our team and coaches.

Executive Committee
Our executive is a volunteer group of parents, so you can usually find us at the rink during lessons. We meet monthly and encourage parents to join us at meetings if they have questions or concerns.
Committee Meetings
Our next meeting will be held on January 7, 2025, in the Curling Rink Lounge.
